Hola Colombia! First time in South America

Colombia. My first work trip of the year. And to a continent I’ve never been before!

Lobby of Hotel Bogota Marriott

Everyday, a designated van shuffled us to and from the office (which took approx 30 mins, depending on traffic). The local office is in a nice part of town. The little bakery where we pass each morning smells delicioso! The aroma just makes you weak to your knees.

454 453Colombian traditional breads are so good. We especially love the cornbread.

Lots of work during the week. Work and wine-ing in the evenings.

The food was delicious too! or maybe it tasted even better after a week of eating in the hotel. There was a band going around to each table playing a song for whoever was celebrating their birthdays. What a great restaurant. The food and the atmosphere was so much fun!

Coordinated Friday outfits.

We passed by a restaurant on our way to the salt cathedral where we ended up stopping for lunch after checking out the cathedral. What a fun and eclectic place! The owner is a collector of all things. And all things are for sale. The mojarette was delicious. The appetizer came with chorizo, blood sausages, potatoes and arenas. The arepas was slightly sweeter compared to last night but so delicious!522
